Brunello di Montalcino
If you are Brunello di Montalcino lovers, the one produced by Poggio Lucina won’t disappoint your expectations, cause this wine was born with the ambition of representing the high quality winemaking tradition of Tuscany, evocating through your senses an image of a land that is suited to produce long living, important wines.
Everything begins in Tuscany, inside the province of Siena (Montalcino), between the vines of Poggio Lucina, when during the harvest ( rigorously hand made) its Sangiovese Grosso (Brunello) is selected for the first time on site and for the second time in the cellar, just before the process that will turn grapes into wine. In the enveloping body of this Brunello di Montalcino D.o.c.g. we can taste tannins with a rude personality and sour notes. But everything is gently harmonised, sublimating the tradition of Montalcino together with the dedication of the Di Donato’s family.
